I adore family photography. With almost twenty years of working with Devon families, I truly believe I know how to get the best out of children. Relaxed, natural photography in my studio is the perfect way to capture your growing children. You don't have to get in the photos: but I recommend you do!
If you've been waiting to get some beautiful family photography to celebrate your family, don't hold off too long. Those cheeky personalities change in the blink of an eye.
I have a ton of experience of working with young children, and have three daughters of my own: so nothing phases me. I'm also particularly hilarious (well, if you're a child I am...) so I know how to get those genuine smiles and raucous laughs from your little ones.
If your child has sensory issues or disabilities, please don't let this put you off coming in. I have experience of working with children with a huge range of behavioural, social and physical challenges, and I can work closely with you to make them relaxed and most likely to allow me to get some wonderful photography. I also do not use flash: I find this is very beneficial for those who struggle with sensory overload.

Are professional family photos worth it?
Lots of people these days wonder whether in the world of smart phones, we still need professional family photography. Obviously I'm biased, but I think there is such a need for wonderful, purposeful family photography. Having your family captured by a professional family photographer is a wonderful celebration of your little gang. here we celebrate your story, your personalities, and the love you have created.
How much are family photographs?
My packages are super reasonable. I don't like to confuse my families with complex packages and different options, so I keep my family portrait packages simple, and all inclusive. To see exactly what it includes, click here.
What should we wear for family photos?
This is super important! I want to photograph you and your family, not your clothing. So I STRONGLY recommend neutral clothing that is uncomplicated, doesn't contains lots of colours, patterns or text. For more information about exactly what I recommend and some examples, click here.
How do you take good family photos?
The key, for me, is about your family feeling relaxed. If I'm desperately posing your little ones into the perfect positions and forcing them to sit still and look where I tell them; they're soon going to get fed up. For me, I think getting the best out of children is letting them do what they love: so in my sessions we play, run about, dance and enjoy ourselves!
