You made it! That first year seemed to fly by though, didn't it? Somehow that tiny squishy newborn is now a fully fledged baby. What better way to celebrate their first year than with a gorgeous cake smash? You provide the baby, I provide the rest. Every cake smash session takes place in my studio in Newton Abbot, Teignbridge.
What makes my cake smash sessions even more special is that you get a full family session first, including siblings and parents, and then after your little one enjoys their cake; they can have a bath splash session! It really is a fun filled, fantastic session where you'll receive lots of gorgeous photographs afterwards.
I advise booking cake smash sessions well in advance to make sure you confirm your date!

Cake Smash FAQs
How long does a cake smash take?
It really depends on your little one, but your complete session will usually be around an hour or so. I leave plenty of time either side though, in case they take a little time to warm up! You get a family session first, so there's time for that too.
What is the best age for a cake smash?
The cake smash is usually to celebrate their first birthday, but a lot of parents like to have the images in time for their birthday, so if this is the cake, aim to book your session at least two weeks before their birthday.
Why get a cake smash?
They're so much fun! In comparison to sleepy, still newborn sessions, cake smashes are all about mess, silliness and movement. They're also a great way to show off your baby's little personality: will they delicately lick the icing, or throw themselves face-first into their cake?
Do you provide everything?
If you'd like me to! Some parents like to bring their own outfits or items to go in the background, but equally i am more than happy to provide everything you'll need. i speak with you beforehand about colours and styling to make sure we create exactly what you want!
